Itprovides a floor plan for the relevant museums along withmultimedia information about the exhibits (pictures, video/audiocontent, a quiz and much more). This App will take you on 10 guided walksaround some of Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust’s best lovednature reserves.Decide where you want to go, then download the relevant walk (werecommend you do this before your visit). Once there, activate theApp then use your phone’s GPS to help guide you round the routeshown.As you travel along the route select the information points asyou come to them, to learn more about the site’s history andwildlife, or to participate in an activity.

Life for pollinating insects such as bees,butterflies and moths is increasingly difficult, with many speciesnumbers in decline. We are asking you to record the insects thatvisit your garden to build our understanding of which plants aremost attractive to these insects. You will be participating in aCitizen Science project that will generate thousands of insectobservations of the plants that pollinating insects like to visit.This app enables you to:• Record details of the pollinating insects on your chosenplants• Plot these results to see which of your plants is the mostpopular• Upload the data to our central databaseThe data you gather, along with the photos you take, will beused in a research project being undertaken by the University ofSussex. WildImage enables users to create multimedia,interactive trails and diagrams.WildImage can be used either as a floor plan for museums and otherinterior trails or can contain flow-diagrams or images that containclickable Designated Interest Points. These interest points containtext, images, audio, video and multi-choice questions relating tothe object. Users of WildImage can also complete a dedicatedrecording form to upload their own data to the WK Portal.

The ShoreUpdate App allows you to locate, record and submitinformation about archaeological sites at risk from coastalerosion. There are three main choices from the home screen:ShoreUpdate Map – This screen displays over 12,000 coastalarchaeological sites as clustered points. Locate sites by zoominginto clusters to reveal the details and recording form ofindividual sites. If you have obtained the Site ID from the SCH@RPwebsite you can also type the ID into the search bar. You can thenchoose to record the condition of the site by completing the formdirectly, or by downloading the form to your device for later use(this also means you are not dependent on a phone signal when onlocation). Downloaded Forms – This screen displays any forms thatyou have previously downloaded. Or, if you know the Site ID, youcan enter the Site ID at the bottom of the screen to access theform. You can also use this screen to submit your completed formsby selecting the Upload option.
